Este estudio se centra en analizar el alcance de dos enfoques metodológicos para verificar su impacto en diversos indicadores académicos. El diseño experimental es cuantitativo, descriptivo y de carácter correlacional. El estudio está compuesto por un grupo de control y otro experimental de una muestra de 60 estudiantes universitarios españoles. El grupo de control siguió una metodología de formación tradicional sin el uso de recursos tecnológicos. El grupo experimental desarrolló una acción pedagógica mediante flipped learning que se apoyó en recursos clásicos como la radio y la televisión. Se diseñó y validó un cuestionario para la recogida de datos. Los resultados mostraron que el grupo experimental obtuvo mejores evaluaciones que el grupo de control en los siguientes indicadores: colaboración, motivación, rol activo, interacción, competencia digital y logros de aprendizaje. Se concluye que la combinación de flipped learning con medios retroinnovadores es eficaz para mejorar los indicadores académicos en la educación superior.
